The public beta
Ratcatcher is in public beta on TestFlight, Apple’s app for testing apps. Install TestFlight, then open the link on the device you want to test on.
Join on TestFlightWho it’s for
Players of d100 fantasy tabletop roleplaying, on the fourth edition, with an iPhone, an iPad or a Mac running iOS 26, iPadOS 26 or macOS 26, or later. Most useful: people who will use it for a real session, and tell me what went wrong.
What to try
- Make a character, blank or with Guided Creation, and play a session with it: Wounds, Conditions, Fortune and Resolve, Advantage, coins, and Tests from the dice panel.
- Buy Advances and Talents with XP, and check that Total, Spent and Unspent XP stay right.
- Use the same character on two devices signed in to the same iCloud account.
- Print the sheet, or export it as a PDF: Print or Export PDF… in the character’s More menu.
How to send feedback
From TestFlight: take a screenshot, or choose Send Beta Feedback. Tell me what you were doing, what you expected and what happened. Numbers that disagree with the rulebook are especially useful: include the page. You can also write to pascal@polkapps.com.
What testing shares
TestFlight sends me the feedback and screenshots you choose to send, crash logs and the beta’s usage data. The app itself sends nothing. The privacy policy has the details.
Ratcatcher is an unofficial fan project and free. It holds no rules text: you still need the rulebook to play.
