On the Mac and iPad
Ratcatcher is a real Mac app, with menus and keyboard shortcuts. On an iPad with a keyboard, the same shortcuts work, and the same menus are in the iPad’s menu bar.

Windows
Open as many windows as you like with File › New Window (⌘N): one character per window, side by side. Each window remembers its character and section when you come back.
On a Mac and on a wide iPad, the dice panel sits at the side of the window, beside the sheet. On an iPad in a narrow window, the sheet uses the iPhone’s tabs.
