Health

Health is everything that can go wrong with your character, and how it gets better. Conditions, injuries and mutations change the sheet through their effects, and every change shows in the breakdowns.

Wounds

Health on an iPhone: Wounds with its counter and maximum and a Heal menu, then Conditions with a chip for each one.
Health, from Wounds down.

Current Wounds is a tracker: tap − when you’re hit, + when you heal. Tap Maximum to see how your maximum is worked out. When Wounds reach 0, the app reminds you that the rules add a Condition, and offers to add it.

When too many Critical Wounds pile up at 0 Wounds, a warning says so, here and on Play.

Healing

The Heal menu has three ways to get better:

The first two roll the Test for you or take your roll, and show Wounds Healed and Wounds After. Nothing changes until you tap Apply.

Conditions

Each Condition is a chip, with how many you have. Add Condition picks one from the Compendium. A Condition that stacks gets a counter: tap − to take one away, and it goes at 0.

You can do all of this on Play too: tap a Condition’s chip.

Injuries and diseases

Critical Wounds, lasting injuries and diseases share one list. Each one keeps its date, its location and its effects. Swipe it to the right and tap Mark Healed once it has healed: its effects stop.

Add Injury adds one from the Compendium or by hand, as a Critical Wound, an injury, a disease or something else.

Rolling a Critical Wound

  1. Tap Roll Critical Wound….
  2. Roll or pick the Location.
  3. Roll the Critical Roll, with the app’s dice or yours.
  4. Read the Result: the injury, and the Wounds it costs.
  5. Tap Add Injury.
The Roll Critical Wound sheet: a Location section with a roll and a picker, then a Roll section for the critical roll.
A Critical Wound, from roll to sheet.

Corruption

Corruption is a tracker, shown against its threshold. Tap Threshold to see how it’s worked out. When your Corruption goes over it, the app tells you, with Roll the Test… to see whether a mutation follows, and Mutation… to work it out.

The Mutation helper goes through it in three steps: the Corruption you lose, body or mind, and which mutation. You can also refuse it by spending a point of Resilience.

Mutations

Physical and mental mutations have a list each, shown against their limit. Add one with Add Physical Mutation or Add Mental Mutation. Its effects are applied to the sheet.

Health for a spellcaster: no physical mutations out of 2, one mental mutation out of 4, then Psychology with an Add Trait button.
Mutations, each list against its limit.

Psychology

Psychology traits are reminders: they change no number. Add one with Add Trait, with who or what it’s about and its rating. Write anything else under Notes.

Health has its own Notes too, which you can write in at any time.
